  • 1999-2000: Research associate at the Hematology – Oncology Unit, ‘Aghia Sophia’ Children’s Hospital, with active participation in the organization and development of liquid cultures of bone marrow hemopoietic cells.

  • Ph.D 2002: Doctorate Thesis, 1st Department of Pathology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, ‘Laikon’ Hospital, Athens, Greece. Graded “Excellent”.
  • 2007: Fellow at the Hematology-Oncology Unit, ‘Aghia Sophia’ Children’s Hospital with focus on the outpatient clinic of the Unit.

Scientific-Clinical activity

  • 2005-2006: Consultant of the Oncology Unit, First Dpt of Pediatrices, ‘Aghia Sophia’ Children’s hospital, Athens University, Medical School
  • 2020 to present: As an Assist Professor of Pediatrics-Pediatric Haematology-Oncology apart from general pediatric practice I organized and started the function of the hematology outpatient clinic where children with haematological problems are investigated, treated and followed up. With a special interest in bone marrow failure syndromes, cytopenias and lyphadenopathies, a comprehensive evaluation and intervention is offered in children and their families.
