Anthie Damianaki

Consultant Pediatrician at the Second Department of Pediatrics NKUA, at Athens Children's Hospital "P. & A. Kyriakou"

Anthie Damianakiwas born in Athens in 1989.

She is a postgraduate student of the Master of Science “Pediatric Infectious Diseases” in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in Greece since 2019.

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Crete in 2013, she has practiced medicine as a Resident Doctor in Pediatrics at “Evaggelistria” General Panarcadian Hospital in Tripoli, Peloponnese and she has completed her Internship at the Second Department of Pediatrics of NKUA in “P.& A. Kyriakou” Athens General Children’s Hospital.

She has worked as a volunteer doctor for one year in the Pediatric Department of Athens Polyclinic of the Nonprofit Organization “Doctors of the World”.

Furthermore,she hasbeen a NLS (Neonatal Life Support) Instructor from 2014to 2018 and an EPILS (European Pediatric Immediate Life Support) Instructor for the period 2018-2019.She is also an active member of the European Society of Pediatrics Infectious Disease’s Organization “ESPID” since 2018.

The last 4 years she has focused her career on attending and actively participating in the Hematology Outpatient Clinic of the Athens Children’s Hospital “P. & A. Kyriakou” providing comprehensive hematological consultations for patients with acute or chronic blood disorders along with the Head of the Clinic, AssοciateProfessor of Paediatrics-Paediatrics haematology-Oncology Mrs Lydia Kossiva.

Currently she is working as a Consultant Pediatricianat the Second Department of Pediatrics NKUA, atAthens Children’sHospital “P. & A. Kyriakou” while working on her PhD thesis “Study of probable differentiation in antibody response after vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 virus between children with normal Body Mass Index (BMI) and obese-overweight children” in the Medical Department of NKUA.
